I made some progress on the outline for my screenplay "Death Rides a Pale Horse". I did run into some complications before beginning. The first snag I ran into I blogged about. The question I had was 'if I produce this myself, it may be hard to find someone Choctaw who will play the lead female'. On second thought, I decided to go ahead and write the screenplay, keeping her Choctaw. That helped move me forward.

Upon beginning, I ran into another issue, for me. See, I had previously imagined this as a more external story. The story did not delve so much into the character's psych, but as I began the outline, the story began to become more of a psychological one. This made me stop and think, 'is this the route I want to take?'

After a long and thoughtful break, I've decided it is.

Over the last week I've gotten the story unfolding in my head and a very rough outline. I won't share it yet, because it still has misspelled words, like lots of them. in addition, it has some very rough sentences too, but it is taking shape.

That being said, I'd like to mention I'm over 30 pages into the screenplay "Follow the Buzzards". I had moved it up from the back of my head while taking a break from outlining "Death Rides a Pale Horse". I will finish it or at least a draft or two before starting this one.
